About me
I am Jonas. Four years ago I planned a three-week holiday in Montenegro. I booked a small guest house in Virpazar, took a few boat tours, watched the sun set over the lake — and postponed my flight home. And then postponed it again. Today I spend most of the year here.
Why this site exists
At some point I started writing long emails to friends and friends of friends telling them which boat tour to book, where to park, where the fish is worth eating. Over the years those emails became a small archive. This site is basically an attempt to write them down once, instead of retyping them every time.
What I promise
I do not earn anything from the boat tours, hotels or restaurants I recommend. When I link to an operator, it is because I have been on the boat, eaten the fish, or inspected the room myself. Recommendations I would not stand behind are not here.
What I do not do
I am not a travel agency. I do not book tours for you, I do not negotiate prices, I do not accept liability. If you have a specific question, get in touch — I reply when I have time. Casual "please plan my trip" messages are not the fastest way to get a useful answer.
